Full-Moon Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

It gets hot and dusty during the Semana Santa procession and no one knows that better than Don Lando and his beautiful family.  No, they're not triplets, but there are a set of twins in the mix!

As far as we know the full-moon has nothing to do with the hot weather, but it is nice to sit out and not have it too cool to chase you into the house as the moon rises.  Clear skies and 20+ miles visibility.  Winds were off at 5.4kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air was a warm 68.6˚ and the water was 60.4˚.  High tide is at 10:11am +4.0' and low tide will be at 3:17pm +1.4'.  We have a south swell out of 188˚ at 2.0'.  If it weren't weak enough, that angle takes it over the edge.  We'll call it flat for all intents and purposes...  Go paddle...

After the procession we were invited into the house, which is built in the old Spanish style of the interior patio.  While we were eating the Lando's pet peacocks gave us quite a show...  When we asked if they were good to eat, they put them in their pens until after lunch was over...
