Mortgage Out Monday Surf & Culture Report
Lost Boys & Co...
Here we have Boris and the Professor ("Don't call me Natasha") giving the surf a cursory check before hitting it this morning. You can see it's gray and we can tell you there was about 9 miles visibility. Winds were out of the SW by 3.6kts and the sea surface had a light bump to it. The air temperature was 59.1˚ and the water was 63.7˚. High tide was at 9:50am +3.8' and low tide was at 2:45pm +1.7'. We're headed for some minus lows in the am toward the end of the week, so no diving in the shallow end. We have a SSW swell out of 199˚ at 2.6' and it was 1' to 2' in the surfline.
Then we have this shot of Boris the Wave Hunter, tracking down this peeler as he prepares to lay down a bottom turn and scoot all the way to 10th St. His hair was perfect... (Photo credit, Robin Fenlon, Brother's Photo Finish Burritos.)
