Fins Up Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

If you were serious about surfing today, you could either go to Sapphire with 47 of your closest surfing buddies (like we did) or you could grab a boat and get an emerald green wave like Steve Burke (#1) on Lake Payette, Idaho.

Here we had hazy sun and 10 miles visibility.  Winds were light onshore and the sea surface was lightly textured.  The air at checkout was 66.3° and the water is a nice 69.4°.   High tide was early at 8:01am +3.1' and low tide follows at 11:23am +2.7'.  It was a SSW swell out of 199° at 2.6' and it was 1' to 3' at inside Sapphire...
