Another Valentine's Day Tuesday Surf & Culture Report
Lost Boys & Co...
Hugs & kisses to all of our Valentine's today! You get some even if you're a big fuzzy guy, like us.
Some big waves out there under clear skies and a great view across the bay. Winds were offshore at checkout variable to 4.7kts and the sea surface was smooth with a big roll. The air temperature was 44.4° and the water, after all that wind last night, shaved off some tenths down to 57.6° Low tide at 9:27am +0.5' and high tide at 3:50pm +2.8'. The buoy is reading a straight west swell out of 268° at 6.6' and it looks like anywhere from 5' to 8' faces, with big open tubes at the lower tides.
Tandis Morgan loves kelp and copper and finally got a chance to put the two together! We thought it was great. We need one of these!
Lots of white water this morning. Look how far Sapphire is breaking out...
