Tear'em Up Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

A friend of Robin Fenlon, Keala Kennelly managed to get towed into this yawning monster at Teahupoo.  Absolutely incredible, it kinda hits you in the pit of your stomach every time you look at it...  So we can imagine getting towed in, but how do you get out?  That looks like a problem of major proportions...  like getting washed over the reef, surviving the surge and not getting hit by a boat full of photogs...

Mostly sunny this morning with 20 miles visibility.  Winds were calm and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temperature was 68.8˚ and the water was 72.0˚.  High tide was at 8:40am +3.8' and low tide will follow at 1:21pm +2.2'.  We have a SW swell out of 220˚ at 3.6' and it was 3' to 4' with some nice ones if your timing was on...

Jetski warned us about these girls in Hollywood.  This one actually had a hook...  The Professor in the midst of admonishing her...
