The Redondo Surf Team squeaked by Palos Verdes this morning to win in lined up 2' to 3' surf at Torrance Beach. After four heats and a tied score, the Seahawk women's longboard team hit the water and finished one, two, three sealing the victory for RUHS!

3rd Billy GalinThe morning was crisp and bracing and 10miles visibility. Light offshore winds and the sea surface was smooth. The air temp was 44.9º and the water is 58.8º. Low tide was at 12:09pm -0.2' and high tide was at 6:48pm +3.1'. We have a west swell out of 264º at 3.0' and it was 2' to 3' at Torrance and maybe a skoshee bigger at Hermosa... We'll see if the morning high tide helps peak things up a bit...
The Professor got his new whip this afternoon and got a photo of three of the best craftsmen in the business (#2). There's no doubt that these three could create a masterpiece to your specifications all by themselves and have a couple of doughnuts while letting things cure. From L. to R. Ché, Fred and Tantan Peña. Then there's the satisfied customer (#3) maybe a little disappointed that he's going to have to wax this thing of beauty...
