Here we have three shots of the storm hitting the beaches this morning.
#1 is a shot of the clouds scudding low over Palos Verdes. So we're imagining that's about a 2,000' ceiling. Easky, are we close?
#2 is looking across the bay. You can see Santa Monica, but the clouds are pretty low all the way across. It was starting to rain when we snapped this one.
#3 shows our own brand of hurricane palm frondage. Okay, so they're not quite as bent as the Florida variety, but they're doing their best and making quite a show of it. In case you're trying to re-do your palapa, you can head down Catalina street and pick up some raw materials!
