Lost Boys & Co... S o we see the surf dropping a bit in the next 24 hours (#1), but the pattern is set and the North Pacific is showing some intense storm activity! In Hermosa this morning (#2) we had some axes falling on the brave and foolhardy. Partly cloudy skies and 15miles visibility. The air was 52.2º and the water was 59.7º. Low tide was at 11:17am +1.5' and high tide filled in at 4:51pm +4.0', getting ready for the tide flip tomorrow. We have a WSW swell out of 253º at 3.9' and it was 4' to 6' with some hollow but mainly unmakeable waves. An exception to all that was Mr. Cristiano Von Stutzcanhang, shown here (#3) coming out of 57/58 and hanging deep on this circular grinder. We're not saying he made this wave, but he got a lot farther than you would reasonably imagine... He's been getting some great rides over the last week!
