No Parking On This Side Of The Street Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co... H ey, even the Coaches got to catch a few.  Here (#1) we have Coach Avery snuggling up to a warm Palm Springs freshwater tube.  Apparently the tubes come in adult sizes as well! H azy sun this morning with 12 miles visibility.  Winds were onshore in the 2 to 5kts range and the water was a bit ruffled.  The air temp was 60.0 º  and the water is 62.2 º and we'll attest to the accuracy of that number!  Low tide was at 8:21am -1.5' and high tide follows at 3:34pm +3.8'.  It's a 3.3' SSW swell out of 209 º .  It's slapping the beach at 3' to 4' and fun if you're patient and not expecting perfection... Crystal Blue Persuasion Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

I n the middle of Surf & Culture's "Pool Week", we have Edith (#1 Left) getting low on this backside zipper.  She's a Hermosa local so we always love to see her doing great!   Looks like Makayla (R) splitting the peak with Edith, stalling a bit for the section...  A nother beautiful morning with 20+ miles visibility under cloudless skies.  Winds wee light offshore and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temperature at checkout was 58.5 º  and the water is 61.9 º .  Low tide was at 7:20am -1.2' and high tide will be at 2:24pm +3.6'.  It's a 3.0' SSW swell out of 204 º  and it was a solid, punchy low tide 3'. J uJu on a great early takeoff (#2).  We like this shot because it shows the wave zone and the previous riders paddling back out.  You're right there in the middle of things and everyone is encouraging you to do your bes...
