No Parking On This Side Of The Street Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Hey, even the Coaches got to catch a few.  Here (#1) we have Coach Avery snuggling up to a warm Palm Springs freshwater tube.  Apparently the tubes come in adult sizes as well!

Hazy sun this morning with 12 miles visibility.  Winds were onshore in the 2 to 5kts range and the water was a bit ruffled.  The air temp was 60.0º and the water is 62.2º and we'll attest to the accuracy of that number!  Low tide was at 8:21am -1.5' and high tide follows at 3:34pm +3.8'.  It's a 3.3' SSW swell out of 209º.  It's slapping the beach at 3' to 4' and fun if you're patient and not expecting perfection...

This pic (#2) describes the hope one has when the wave jacks up like this in front of you.  "I can make this!"  "It's going to hold up!"  "Can I fit into this tube?"  "I'm going for it!"

Here's (#3) team Capt. Dylan going for it!  He and Parker probably scored more tube time than most of the other chargers.  We were liking the way his team mates were on the shoulder anticipating his every move...
