In the inaugural "Women's March Madness" which stretched into May this year,  Keani Honda-Snow beat London Meza in a closely contested final.  The surf was inconsistent but Keani, the senior and arguably crowd favorite, edged out the talented London with some smart positioning and determination.  Congratulations to all the women who participated...

Partly cloudy this morning with 16 miles visibility and light offshore winds.  The air was a chilly 52.2º and the water is 61.7º.  One low tide today at 7:28am +0.2'.  It's a 2.3' SSW out of 211º and it was 1' to 2.5' and some zipping ankle snappers crashing on the sand...

Once again our action photo-journalist, Anna "In the Wild" Burns, took this great shot of a pilot whale and it's pup cruising along in Baja, off of La Paz.  Even though the photo looks deep, Anna said that it was only about 10'.  What an awesome sight to behold!
