Lost Boys & Co...

Joe's Oyster Bar in Mazatlan.  Wheatley and LoLa snuggin' it up while waiting for the margaritas...

While Hurricane Odile is spinning itself dizzy over Baja we have cloudless skies and 20+miles visibility.  And to top it off no wind all morning and glassy seas.  The air was a steamy 78.7˚ and the water is 70.0˚.  Low tide was at 8:28am +2.8' and high tide will be at 2:58pm +4.9'.  We have a SW swell out of 220˚ at 3.3' and it's about 3' at most spots.  The shape's a bit ragged, but fun none-the-less.

In answer to your next question, "No, the hurricane will not affect our surf since it's too far east to pass the various points of Palos Verdes and Catalina."  Now if it decided to head west for a couple of days then things might change!  Also if it just kept wandering north we could get a bit of weather.  As it stands, we're supposed to get a bit of surf mid-week when the south swells meet a west wind-swell.  Stay sharp...

Jealousy is such an ugly thing, Capitan...  Rumor has it that Wheatley and the Capitan will be heading for El Salvador next week.  Ché left Friday and it sounds like it's on...  No word on LoLa...
