Back In Recovery Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Here we have the Danger Boy ensconced in the brilliant new "Danger Suite" high within Torrance Memorial Hospital.  Looking pretty damned spry for someone who just had major surgery, he was trying to convince the nurse that he really needed a bath.  Yes, she was pretty...  AND she wields a mean loofa...

Still some light rain this morning, with 5 miles visibility through the drizzle.  Cloudy skies and another cell is supposed to pass later today.  Winds are offshore by 5.5kts and the sea surface is brushed silver-green.  The air temperature is 62.0˚ and the water is 66.0˚.  Despite the runoff it's looking remarkably clean, at least it's not noticeably turbid.  High tide is at 6:26am +6.4' and low tide will be at 1:24pm -0.4'.  The surf is a strong west swell out of 254˚at 5.2' and it's 4' to 6' and some offshore swept tubes...  Best at the higher tides...
