Warding Off Another Wednesday Surf & Culture Report
Lost Boys & Co...
The boys have played dominoes several times a week since Reagan was president. Recently a new face broke into the rotation, none other than Ivan "Double-Sixes" Fernandez. Apparently he's won a couple in a row and felt like he had to provide brekky for the crew. They all agreed he's number one! Shown here we have T.C., Jack, Double-Sixes, Cliff and Boomer. A brilliant morning with 20+ miles visibility and partly cloudy, mostly sunny skies. Winds were offshore at 3.7kts like one would expect and the sea surface was smooth to glassy. The air temperature was 75.3˚ and the water was 70.9˚ at the buoy and 75˚ on the board at the Hermosa Pier. High tide was at 8:12am +4.1' and low tide will be at 1:11pm +2.1'. We have a SW swell out of 217˚ at 2.6' and it was 2' to almost 3' with the crystal clearest waves we've seen in ages... All in all, a fabulous morning to be in the water...
Coffee, coffee, coffee... Jetski was surprised to find how much this looked like real life... Must've been the coffee...
