You've Done Something Unpleasant To Your Hair Monday Surf & Culture Report
Lost Boys & Co...
Take a look at the attachment for the announcement of the benefit for Greg Browning. Greg was one of the best surfers to come out of the South Bay (Think Alex Gray level.) He's been stricken with MS and all the proceeds from the event will go to him and his family. If you haven't seen the VEFA Gallery yet, this would also be a good time to catch the "Art of Surf" Exhibit.
Cloudy skies this morning, burning off to a marvelous day. Winds were light offshore 1 to 5kts and the sea surface was smooth. The air was 54.0º and the water is right around 59.0º. Low tide will be at 10:34am +1.9' and high tide will be at 4:01pm +3.8'. Be some really low tides in the afternoon later this week. It's a WSW swell out of 255º at 3.0'. It was 3' to some almost 5' crunchers.
