Coming Down In Torrents Surf & Culture Report (Torrance too...)

Lost Boys & Co...

The latest in a long line of Sea Sprites, Morgan Sliff celebrates day #168 after hitting the surf at Sapphire.  Sea sprite pose #7.  Sapphire was 3' to 4' with some nice "A" frames, but in most places it was a bit wilder and woollier...

Clouds and rain with almost 2 miles visibility.  Winds are persistent out of the SE at 8.3kts gusting to over 12kts, but the surface remains relatively smooth, due to the rain.  The air is 55.6º and the water is 60.6º, everything seeming warmer with a bit of cloud cover holding down the warm.  High tide was at 5:48am +5.2' and low tide will be at 1:01pm +0.4'.  We have a WSW swell out of 258º at 6.2' and it's 5' to 7' at most spots.  Can be a bit intimidating, but not for you!  Go gett'um...
