The Autumnal Solstice Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Here we have the sun setting on summer...

Finally, after quite a dry spell, we've got some surf!  15 miles visibility and partly cloudy skies with a light south wind blowing about 3.2kts (before picking up early afternoon and blowing 15-20kts out of the west.)  The sea surface in the am was smooth to glassy.  The air temp was 67.2 and the water is 69.1 at the buoy.  Low tide was at 7:50am +2.4' and high tide will be at 2:19pm +5.4'.  We have a building west swell out of 255º at 4.3' and it was 3' to 4' and planking on the inside.  But if you got an early start you could make it through the drop and on to the flats...   Whoopee!

Happy hour Friday evening will be at Samba at 5:30pm on the patio.

Looking for an open spot at the counter?
