Thanksgiving Eve Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Here we have Laurie Armor (#1) at Baja Hermosa Malibu building up some real speed to make this excellent corner.  So often we dis Hermosa as being walled up and impossible, but when it's on there can be some really great waves.  This session about  week ago demonstrated how good it can get...

After all that buildup it's foggy this morning with barely a quarter mile visibility.  Hard to tell if it's drizzling or raining or just foggy.  Winds are light out of the NW by 3kts and the sea surface is obscured.  The air is 60.0º and the water is 59.9º.  High tie is at 6:29am +5.5' and low tide will be at 1:23pm +0.5'.  We have a south swell out of 188º at 2.3' and it's 2' when you can see it...

CHECK IT OUT!
Today, Wednesday the 27th we'll be having our own private showing at the VEFA Art Gallery for the "Art Of Surf" exhibit.  Suzi will be our guide and docent and fill us in on all of the particulars.  Tour starts at 1pm and will probably last about an hour.  Tell your surf buds that they don't want to miss this opportunity!  The Gallery is located at 21825 Hawthorne Blvd. Torrance, CA 90503.  For the geographically challenged it's next to the Chic-Fil-A between Carson and Sepulveda.

Looks like the S&CR will most likely be taking the morning off to prepare mentally for dinner.  A better reason is that Brother's will be taking one of their rare holidays off and will be closed.  But don't despair, they'll be back on Friday!
