Lost Boys & Co...
If you didn't think it was windy enough on Sunday, this little guy (#1) was hunkered down on the pier. You'd have thought he was riding shotgun in the bus...
A beautiful morning with 10 miles visibility under mostly sunny skies. Winds were light offshore 1 to 3kts and the sea surface was lightly brushed. The air temperature was 55.5º and the water is 73.9º. High tide was at 5:28am +4.9' and low tide will be early at 11:10am +2.1' (Remember, some high tides on the weekend, possibly as full as last week!) It's a SSW swell out of 206º at 3.3' and it was a crashy 3' on the beach. We were about to take a dip when Gumby reminded us of our wonky neck and the take-off-to-snap ratio...
Ten years ago today the crew was scaling "Dead Woman's Pass" on the way to Machu Pichu (#2). LoLa. the Professor and Surfsqueeze stopped for a photo op and to try and find some spare oxygen molecules floating around at 14,000'.
