Here we go diving into another Halloween
.  Do you have enough candy?  Are you dressing up to hand it out?  Are you going to a party?  Are you going to hide under the covers until this whole thing is over?  Whatever, you're making the right decision...

Meanwhile it was a clear morning with 20 miles visibility.  Winds were light offshore and the sea surface was smooth.  The air was a downright frigid 47.8º, 6 degrees down from an already chilly Wednesday.  What?  Are we trying to assure that we have frost on the pumpkin?  High tide was at 8:50am +5.8' and low tide follows at 3:36pm +0.2'.  It's a SSW swell out of 193º at 2.3' and it was a whopping 2' on the beach...

Barbara Miloe asked the Professor to carve a tiki pumpkin.  A bit of cultural appropriation here, but with the best of intentions...

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it"
