Flying close to the ground, we have this witchy biker boiling and bubbling and looking for trouble. There were two of them and they made Yoshi promise that he'd have eye of newt mañana for their burrito garnish. They said they'll be back, check'um out mañana!
Beautiful morning replete with sun dog and 20 miles visibility. Winds were offshore making for some finely brushed waves. The air was a chilly 53.5º and the water was warmer at 60.4º. High tide was a7 8:33am +5.6' and low tide drains at 3:07pm +0.5'. It's a west swell out of 268º at 3.3' and it was a steady 3' to 4' with some fatties on the outside...
The "Kickoff Classic" continued at Hermosa pier with the Redondo team seeding a number of surfers in the next round. Advancing were;
1st Place: Charlie Lentz, Devon Russell, Kai Thomas and Dylan Morrisroe.
2nd Place: Zach Shore and Evan Johnson (who many of you know is a regular at the pier.)
3rd Place: James Lyons
