A Munchkin Monday Surf & Culture Report
Lost Boys & Co...
Good morning to all of you who had too many Peeps, Cadbury Eggs and Ham this weekend. But wait! Don't stop celebrating! The crew gathered this morning to wish LoLa a happy birthday (#1) and feasted on Burritos and a celebratory Kringle. The party goes on this evening (6pm) at Capt. Kidd's with mediocre seafood, lots of wine and excellent tall tale telling.
Visibility was 11 miles today with a few clouds marring the perfect blue sky. WSW winds out of 248º at 3 to 7kts and the sea surface was/is textured. The air was 49.0º and the water is trying at 59.0º. One low tide at 11:40am +0.1'. It's a SSW swell out of 209º at 2.6' and it was a floating 2' to 3' and windy/walled.
If you're worried about housing costs, you can pitch your tent along side of this guy who has set up housekeeping at the base of the lifeguard headquarters. Replete, with umbrellas, plants and side tables, it's looking pretty deluxe. It's been there for a few days, so maybe it's a homesteading situation!
