A Wili Wili Wednesday Surf & Culture. Report

Lost Boys & Co...

What's the idea of having it rain on June the 3rd in Southern California?  It appears that it was enough to lower the water temp by a couple of degrees.  So now we're looking at 63.3 instead of 65-something.  Who's in charge here?  It's a SSW swell out of 197, so it's pretty oblique.  It's reading 3.6' and it looks more like 2' to 3' in Hermosa and a little smaller at Sapphire.  The wind is raising a bit of tack so earlier was better.

We'd like to know how many of these fish I.D. Cards they sell a year in Hawaii.  We had one that was delaminating to the point that several species had left the reef.  Actually this trip revealed a couple of fish we hadn't seen in the past.  We identified a Picasso Triggerfish and a Titan Scorpion Fish.  Also some of the fish we've seen in Kaua'i seem to be larger than on some of the other islands.  Maybe because there are fewer folks chasing them around.  Also tons (literally) of turtles…
