Lost Boys & Co... F lying into Boise the smoke from the Oregon fires is impenetrable.  Visibility is about a quarter of a mile.  The entire Northwest is dotted with active fires.  But let’s use our x-ray vision to see the stats in the South Bay… T en miles visibility under overcast skies with offshore winds from 3 to 5kts.  Air temperature was 69.9 º and the water is 71.4 º.  High tide is at 11:01am +3.9’ and low tide will be at 3:36pm +2.3’.   It’s a SSW swell out of 208 º at 4.6’ and it’s 2’ to 3’+.  Again maybe a tight window so hit it earlier than later. Lost Boys & Co... "T he waves have some mercy, but the rocks have no mercy at all." Gaelic Proverb S ending reports out faster than we can write them OR give them subject headings! M acbeth at Veteran's Park (#1) married Shakespeare's play with a stunning backdrop evoking a bit of Scotland!  An excellent performance... S un was breaking through as the tide got perfect for some zippers out of the office.  Winds were offshore by 1 to 3kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temperature quickly heated up from 67.9 º  at checkout.  The sea temp is 71.4 º  and feels more like 74.1 º .  High tide was at 10:08am +3.8' and low tide will be at 2:245pm +2.6'.  It's a SSW swell out of 209 º  at 3.6' and it was 3' to almost 4' and Doc was on fire.  A-Aron got it early and Doc and the Professor did second shift.  Fun & funner...

Andrew Lang So Funcle (putting the "fun" in Uncle) and the Professor (#1) continued to hijack the ridiculous while keeping the strait-laced at bay.  They'll get over it... A  warm hazy sun heating things up pretty early.  The water's 72.1 º  and they've got it listed on the pier at 74 º .  Winds wee annoyingly onshore 2 to 6kts and the sea surface was roughed up to the point of distraction.  A Volkswagen Beetle (#2) profile set of tides, high tide at 8:51am +3.3' and low tide follows at 112:06pm +3.0'.  It's a 4.3' south swell out of 178 º  and it's 3' to 4' and kinda pounding on the inside... C heck out the "Molokai to Oahu Paddleboard Championships" on Sunday and follow our boy Christiano Von Stutzman (#3)...

Lost Boys & Co... A ll that work we did for Corona and all we got was this hat (#1).  Variable shades, tall stack to let hot air rise, light and sturdy.  Not waterproof... T urtle spotted at 2nd St. this morning (#2) as a hot sun rose over the South Bay.  Winds out of the South by 2 to 4kts and the sea surface had a pronounced roll.  67.8 º in the air and 71.6 º  in the water.  High tide was at 7:54am +3.0' and low tide followed at 10:49am, barely, at +2.9'.  A SSW swell out of 197 º  at 4.6' and it was breaking hard enough to take 15 minutes to jump, swim and paddle out to the line-up.  A good workout, but not classic Hermosa... W hen they (#3) were P.I.'s they regularly started on the pier to assess the case load.  This was the 10th St. caper that had them teaming with "Cla...
