W hat we have here (above) is Doc drawing our attention to a hapless paddler who, first, jumped in by the tower and is now somewhere near 4th St. He then proceeded to get caught in a rip, pushed into an outside set that tested his leash and his resolve. He managed to get back in to shore, but needed a few minutes to gather himself... J umbled conditions from the winds last night and they're predicted to blow again today and this evening. Currently its anywhere from 6 to 20kts and the sea surface is chopped up. The air was chilly this morning at 47.5 º and the water is 62.4 º , but that might drop with these winds. Low tide at 6:46am +2.1' and high tide follows at 112:17pm +4.2'. It's a blustery west swell out of 268 º at 6.6' and it looks like about 4' to 7' with the wind knocking down some of the peaks.
