Yellow Card Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

We don't know how it happened, but we let Ed talk us into going out this morning.  It started out glassy (#1), but by the time we hit it, it was onshore by 5 to 6kts and pretty roughed up.  Kinda hazy, almost foggy in the a.m. sunnying up as the day progresses.  The air temp was 65.5º and the water is close to 70.0º.  High tide was at 6:13am +2.8' and low tide followed at 10:34am +2.0'.  It's a SSW swell out of 194º at 3.6' and it was 3' with some bigger slammers guaranteed to send you to the bottom quickly...

It's not that we don't care about where George Washington slept, but dammit the Beatles played here!  It's changed names three times and is now a coffee shop, but the BEATLES!

Lola is famous for getting digs in the middle of the most quaint towns, but she outdid herself with Whiskey, Gin, Beer and Gifts next door!  That's our door there that had the most complex locking system devised by man.  It insisted in locking itself when we were in, so you couldn't leave.  Then wouldn't lock when you actually left...
