The South Bay is NOT flat.  Lake Payette is flat!  The Professor (#1) demonstrates…

Cloudy in Hermosa this morning with 10 miles visibility.  Winds are persistent out of the south 2 to 4kts and the sea surface is tacked up.  The air temperature is 68.3º and the water is 73.4º.  Low tide starts the day off at 6:43am +0.8’ and high tide will be at 1:10pm +4.6’.  We have a 3.0’ SSW swell out of 195º and a bit of combo is slapping the beach at 2’ to 3’.  Maybe some tide will help if the wind doesn’t kick up…

Up here in the north their sense of humor tends toward the bizarre and maybe a bit violent.  Like this display (#2) outside the local “Guns & Ammo” shop.  Not quite sure if they are suggesting you shoot the coyote, maim the Sasquatch or get them both with one shot.  The sign said “Used Guns & Ammo.”  What do you do with used ammo?

Lost Boys & Co... W hat has this man (#1) been smoking?  Or eating?  Well, that looks like a pozole mustache!  It is pozole season and the mustaches are in... V isibility was a cool 20 miles this morning under clear skies.  Winds were light offshore 1 to 5kts and the sea surface is smooth.  The air was a below-brisk 49.9 º and the water is 62.4 º .  Low tide started off the morning at 5:37am +2.1' and high tide was at 11:25am +5.1'.  It's a west swell out of 264 º at 3.0' and it held all the way to the beach (#3) with some corners for the discrete.  Conditions meshed pretty well for some good sessions. panorama, pre-sunrise, (#2) from the lifeguard headquarters to the end of PV.  Some of these winter morning make for spectacular sunrises...  A  ✠ "When the surf breaks, we'll fix it" The Professor!!

A lright good citizens!  So how do they come up with generic names for these wonder drugs?  Like this:   The assignment of a generic name, also known as an International Nonproprietary Name (INN), is a global effort coordinated by the World Health Organization (WHO) through its INN Programme. This program establishes unique and universally accepted names for pharmaceutical substances to avoid confusion and enhance patient safety. Generic names are designed to be distinctive in sound and spelling, avoiding similarity with existing trademarks or other drug names.  A bit onshore from the get-go, with winds in the 2 to 6kts range.  Made for some bump out there under cloudy skies.  It started out at 58.0 º  and honestly kept dropping for the early morning.  The water was marginally warmer at 61.5 º .  High tide was at 8:09am +3.5' and low tide will be at 1:13pm ...

Gays Of Hormuz Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co... T ired of hearing about the Straights of Hormuz... C loudy, gray (#1) and on shore winds 3 to 7kts.  The sea surface is a bit tacked.  The air temperature is 58.0 º  and the water has risen to 60.1 º  in an heroic attempt to lure us back into the sea.  One low tide at 10:31am +1.0'.  It's a 2.3' west swell out of 270 º  and it's an inconsistent 2' to 3' on some of the new sand bars.
