Take Off All Your Clothes Tuesday Surf & Culture Report
Lost Boys & Co...
Apparently if a woman wants a man to look her in the eyes all she has to do is take off all of her clothes. Here (#1) we have the Professor, at the talk given by Paul Roustan on body painting at the VEFA Gallery, looking directly into her peepers. There will be new show soon at the VEFA Gallery, but we've been told there is no nudity. We'll go anyway...
Overcast to partly cloudy skies this morning and 14 miles visibility. Winds were out of the SSE at 1 to 3kts and there was some light texture on the water. The air was 62.3º and the water is 65.8º. High tide is at 10:58am +3.8' and low tide will be at 3:27pm +2.0'. It's a SW swell out of 221º at 4.3'. It turned ragged fairly quickly, even though it was in the 3' to 5' range.
In photo #2 we have an original Bahne Surfboard that was owned by the late and extraordinary Doug Hap. By all accounts it's never been ridden and Marie, his wife would like to find it a good home. It looks like it's in the 9'6" to 10' range. Maybe Jose Barahona can give us an idea how much it's worth?
We'll be heading to the west side of Kauai for some legit warm water and snorkelating. The report might be sketchy for the next 10 days or so, so we beg your understanding...
