Wheezing Wednesday Surf & Culture Report
Lost Boys & Co...
Okie-dokie, our question for today is: What do these three surf dogs (#1) have in common? No, it's not that they're geezers. That fruit is way too low hanging. They've all been surfing more than 50 years? Yeah, but that's not it. They all wear hearing aids (sometimes?) Hey, they're all over 75, of course they wear hearing aides. Answer below*
Best wishes to long time Surf & Culture member Bob Stassi. He had neck surgery and will be out of the water for a minute. Take advantage of his absence to hit the Cove!
Beautiful day with 20 miles visibility. Winds were strong offshore 5 to 7kts. The sea surface was smooth. The air temperature was 59.9º and the water was 63.5º. It's a high tide at 6:45am +3.8' and low tide will be imperceptibly lower at 9:56am +3.7'. A SSW swell out of 195º at 2.3' and it was 1' to almost 2' and Doc and the Professor made it look smaller - but fun...

Speaking of the Redondo Surf Team, Coach Avery got a freshie and allowed a notorious local street artist to embellish it (#2). We watched him ride it and it looked legit! Al Merrick is probably pissed off though...
Answer to today's question: They all have the same dentist!
