March Going Out Soggy Monday Surf & Culture Report
Lost Boys & Co...
Last Friday at the Surf Contest Kevin Gilligan was trying out his new lens and caught over 1500 images of the contestants! Some great shots, go to https://www.photosbykag.com/Sports/Surfing/South-Bay-Scholastic-Surfing-Association. They're available for purchase on his site!
A little Sunday brekky with the crew (#1) to wish S.J. and her friend Georgia bon voyage as they headed back to Boulder for school. L. to R. It's Jah Morgan, Christiano, Gabe, Toph, Burnsy, Jose, Anupa and S.J. That's a camera shy Scout in the front.
Rainy early this morning with offshore winds and 10 miles visibility. The air temperature was 56.3 and the water is 57.7. Low tide at 5:24am -0.9' and high tide will be at 11:38am +4.2'. It's a textured west swell out of 264 at 4.9' and it's 4' at Saphy and 5' to 6' in Hermosa.
Seems like wherever we go we'll find a VW Combi waiting to be admired. This '73 in San Miguel de Allende (#2) was tricked out for the "Day of the Dead" and they didn't bother to change the look after the holiday. You'll notice when you see this rolling up in your rear view mirror...
