We're Open Wednesday Surf & Culture Report
Lost Boys & Co...
Under a light rain the critically acclaimed and famous gathered for the opening of Brothers PCH. 1550 PCH tucked in between Smart & Final, the cleaners and behind the Chase Bank it's ready for business. Ronnie and Laurie were there to greet the guests and in short order in strolled Tarsan, the Professor and Sancho. Coffees were quaffed and Burnsy, Toph and Scout moseyed in and ordered burritos. Then out of nowhere came "Julie from PV" the first actual for-real customer! She knew the other locations and just walked in unaware of her celebrity. Caitlin got some burritos to go and it looked like things are taking off in stellar fashion! Might have to do a legit field trip for the Familia!
Really unstable weather out there! Started out as a light rain, the clouds parted and some bright sun and then back to some cloudiness with a chance of burritos. Winds are off in the 3kts to 8kt range and the sea surface is smooth. The air was 56.0 and the water is trying at 54.9. High tide was at 8:54am +5.5' and low tide will be at 3:38pm -0.6'. Watch for lightning while beach combing! It's a WSW swell out of 253 at 4.3' and it's 3' to 5' at most spots with a little high tide float.
Now we all know that 11th Street is home, but we might be tempted on Sapphire, Knob, Avenues, Rat, Haggerty's surfs to make a Brother's PCH run! The Bus knew right where to find it!
