Meaty, Beefy, Big & Bouncy Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Here (#1) we have clan Miloe getting ready for a meal in Japan.  Conservatively speaking the group should go through about 75-90 dishes as they mow through the dinner.  You get all of these petite little plates, then all of a sudden you're full!  You suddenly realize you've had ten helpings of various tasty things and there you are.  Green tea ice cream anyone?

Thank the Who for inspiring today's subject line and the Pacific Ocean for channeling the same.  At last a clear morning and 15 miles visibility.  The air was 60.9º and thew water is trying to warm up at 65.8º.  Our favorite Baywatch Captain Steve Sleeis tells us that the temperature is 69º mid Catalina channel!  Low tide was at 10:41am +1.1' and high tide will be at 5:35pm +5.0'.  It's a booming SSW swell out of 194º at 5.2' and while it's big at Oceanside (where Christian is competing for the USA Longboard Surfing Championship.  He advanced this morning and will surf tomorrow!) the swell is merely roiling things up here and smacking things at 3' to 5'.  Yes, you can go to Malibu and join about a hundred screaming gladiators jousting for waves.  We watched the cam for about 15 minutes and never saw anyone not get cut off...

When Paul Miloe travels he really gets into the vibe!  Love the slippers!  We need those so we can be 5'11"...
