Fitzpatrick Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Windy and cool here on the west coast of Ireland.  The tide was low, considering there was a 4’ difference in the tide, the flats were extensive stretching for miles.  It looked like you could walk out a couple of hundred yards and still touch.  The Professor (#1) was checking out this shop in Dingle, but later between Dingle and the Cliffs of Moher we found another shop and the thickest rubber we found so far (#2).  The salesgirl told us they used to carry full 7’s, but hey were too cumbersome and people complained!  The water here is considered warm this year and it’s 57!  That’s winter for us!  Buoy temp today was 63.3.  Hermosa has a SSW swell out of 194deg at 3’ and it was just about that…

We’ll try and send some shots of the beach and the cliffs tomorrow!
