Some good sized surf on Saturday and one of several RUHS chargers to ride the Breakwall was (#1) Stone Erikson. He got 5 or 6 and looked good. Jackson Owens and Nico Bobo also made it out and grabbed some almost makeable corners...
Partly cloudy skies with 10 miles visibility. Winds were light offshore 2 to 6kts and the sea surface was smooth. The air was a chilly 53.9º and the water is 62.2º. Got a report of 64º water temperature from the guards paddling around the buoy. One low tide today at 10:56am +1.1'. It's a west swell out of 272º at 4.9' and it was crashing 5' to 6' trying to dig some holes in those pool table flat sand bars... Good luck...
At "Not Shock Box" Paul Roustan (#2) held forth Saturday evening doing some classic body painting and exhibiting some of his work. We were amazed with the app that allowed you to look through your phone and render the images in motion! Like any new technology, it appeared to be magic...
