Freestyle Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

The Seahawks really did a great job this morning!  Marian fielded one of the better teams she's had in recent memory, and they did a great job.  RUHS got first in every heat and we'll just show the number 1's.  Next week will be Redondo against rival Mira Costa and you can bet there will be some amazing surfing!

The #1's:  Heat #1 SB:  Kai Milan-Thomas,  Heat #2 SB:  Dylan Morrisroe (with a 12.03 for the highest heat total of the day!), Heat #3 SB:  London Meza, Heat #4 LB: Sheamus Swift (who by the way was just accepted to UCLA!)  Heat #5 LB:  JuJu Sleeis, Heat #6 SB:  Parker Murphy, Heat #7 SB:  Charlie Lentz.

Cloudy this morning with low overcast.  Winds were offshore 2 to 5kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air was a damp 57.9º and the water was even damper at 63.3º.  High tide was at 5:26am +5.0' and low tide follows at 12:55pm -0.6'.  It's a 2.3'SSW swell out of 194º and ity was 3' to 4' breaking off of a particularly good left sand bar out to sea from Brothers.

In #1, we have Anna as cinematographer to the stars bobbing in the warm Pacific in Costa Rica.  In the "International Wild Hair Competition" #2, She was working her curls in the back of the Toyota at mach 3 and found herself in front of the camera.  One of her super powers is the ability to stay underwater for ages.  In #3 she's taking her time to get to the surface.
