It's The Real Thing Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

All things considered it's a pretty typical late winter's day here in Southern California.  Cloudy (#1) with 9 miles visibility and winds, light out of the east by 1 to 3kts.  The air temperature was 53.9º at checkout and the water is 59.9º.  High tide was at 9:25am +5.3' and low tide will be at 3:48pm -0.3'.  We have a 3.0' west swell out of 267º and it was a mushy 3' to 4' and hard to get into.  Supposed to get windy tonight and tomorrow and maybe switch around on Friday...

We were going through some of the pics that we took of our trip to Idaho last week.  We realized that this shot of the Professor, besides showing his sloppy form, had no one else in the photo.  The entire run is empty!  In all honesty the snow wasn't that great, but Brundage Mountain is known for it's uncrowded slopes.  This was on the "Temptation" run after they had opened the main high speed chair to the crest.  Everyone just left for the other run leaving things mostly to ourselves!  Crazy!
