Take It To A Vote Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

These witches (#1) were at Brother's looking for a cauldron big enough for their Halloween brew.  It was the first time we had ever eaten pozole with eye of newt.  Of course it was good!  These were the witches that turned Mickey into a mouse!  He had been a bicycle thief and entrepreneur in Burbank for years...

Barely 7 miles visibility under overcast skies.  Winds were light offshore, in the 1 to 3kt range.  The air temperature was 60.0º and the water is 65.3º.  High tide was at 7:26am +6.7' and low tide kick starts some radical tide shifts with a -0.8' low at 2:16pm.  It's still that persistent SW swell out of 219º at 3.0' and it's so close to shore it's like sand bombs...

Helpful hint from a reader (#2)...
