The Post Office Is Already Crowded Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Yep, it's happening.  The holidays are upon us no matter how much you think it was just Halloween and those pumpkins haven't even gotten moldy yet.  Those "A" types among us are already mailing things and getting their shopping done.  It is a good night for clam chowder though...

We were fooling around with the RGB levels on this sunset photo at Sapphire (#1) and noticed these white spots that showed up when we tweaked the levels.  Clouds, swamp gas, reflections?  We decided they were alien space craft checking Topaz...

Partly cloudy skies and 10 miles visibility.  Winds were offshore and the sea surface was smooth.  The air was 54.9º and the water is a remarkable 64.4º.  High tide was at 10:11am +5.4' and low tide will be at 6:19pm +0.2'.  There's a west swell out of 281º at 3.6' and it was 4' to 6' and John and Jay were putting on quite a show body surfing and boogeying!

Here (#2) we have Francesco Dorio and Constantino Gucci at the VEFA Gallery on Saturday evening.  They were discussing their collaboration on a number of artworks currently on display at the gallery. Some great reflective pieces, literally and figuratively.  And yes they are from the Genoa Dorio's and the Milan Gucci's families.  We were talking to Constantino and glanced down and realized he was wearing... you guessed it Gucci loafers!
