There have been some spectacular low tides this week. In the company of our in-house marine biologist Nupes Asokan, we made our way to the tide pools at RAT and were treated to investigating some interesting sea creatures. Among them some of the various types of anemones, sea slugs (which have a bitchen scientific name that we don't remember,) colorful snails and much to our surprise some Pismo clams lurking below the surface. 10 Miles of visibility with a great cloud bank between the mainland and Catalina. Winds were offshore 2 to 5kts and the sea surface was smooth. The air was a chilly 51.1
