Sweet Fanny Adams Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Sweet Fanny Adams, often used as "Sweet F. A." for something now gone.  Most people think the F. A. is for something else...

Leading with this shot (#1) of RAT at low tide yesterday afternoon.  There were two guys out and a wave (or two) like this would come through every four or five minutes.

10 miles visibility with hazy sun and no clouds.  Winds were light offshore 1 to 3kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temp was 50.0º and the water is 61.2º.  High tide was at 7:11am +5.8' and low tide will follow at 2:38pm -0.7'.  It's a west swell out of 270º at 3.0' and it was 3' to 5' with some outside bombers swinging through.

Redondo VS Peninsula this morning and the Seahawks had a remarkable day.  Redondo scored a first in all seven heats and had a raft of 2nds and 3rds.  Like this:
1sts:
Kai Thomas
Dylan Morrisroe
Sheamus Swift
Keani Honda-Snow
Parker Murphy
Jackson Owens

2nds:
Zack Shore
Hunter Sleeis
Edith Perez
Evan Jablonski
Soryn Preston
Charlie Lentz

3rds:
Owen Ryan
Keani Honda-Snow
Dylan Morrisroe
Stone Erikson
Elijah Mozian

#2 is a wave the Lost Boys regularly shredded for years.  It's the right at RAT.  This was a smaller one, but a couple of chest high waves came through.  You kick out when you get to the slot and the current shoots you back out like jets...
