Tracks Tuesday Surf & Culture Report
Lost Boys & Co...
Good morning fine citizens everywhere. Reporting this morning from the west side of O'ahu Where it's balmy and warm. We're sitting on the lanai and this is our view to the west (#1). A little surge in Miloe Bay, but not enough to bother the snorkeling. Saw a couple of Black Trevaly yesterday that would have made an excellent dinner!
The South Bay is looking sunny with 20+ miles visibility and clear skies. Winds are out of the east by 1 to 4kts and the sea surface is smooth. Maybe too smooth…. The air temperature is 61.5 and the water is 61.7. The tide is low at 11:42am +0.0' and high tide will be at 6:35pm +2.7'. It's a WSW swell out of 247 degrees at 2.0' and it's 1' to 2' for your shore pounding amusement.
We captured this shot of Sappharua this morning (#2) to let you know we're on the lookout. It could use more palm trees! Swell is coming later this week to the islands and we've been hanging out of the SW shore catching some waist high rollers. Trying not to bounce off the reef. We were appropriately stoked!
