Thrifty Thursday Surf & Culture Report
So here we are on the this side of the Pacific Ocean and at some point this evening we're supposing we'll be out in the middle somewhere, with any luck, attached to an island. But for now here comes the surf report of good old Redondo! Stand ready... Under overcast skies we have 3 miles visibility and quite a bit of haze along the coast. Winds are out of the SSE at 2.3kts and the sea surface is glassy to smooth. The air temp is 63.5f and the water is 68.0f. High tide is at 10:05am +4.3' and low tide will follow at 2:52pm +2.0'. The buoy is reading 3.6' and the resulting surf is 2' and at the moment not looking too momentous. Okay! We'll be following Danger Boy & Girl across this lake and we'll be spending the night in Princeville awaiting the dawn and a shot at some early morning Hawaiian/Kauaiian surf. You don't have to say anything but we're sorta planning on letting Danger Boy paddle out first and then making sure everything is okay. His s
