Lost Boys & Co... H ere we have Coach Avery and his diminutive assistant the Professor.  They're showing off the new pop-up that the parents chipped in for our competition season.  The logo is a really cool amalgam of the old Seahawk and the Redondo "R". O vercast this morning with 7 miles visibility.  You may now officially refer to this condition as "June Gloom."  Winds were light offshore and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temp was 61.5º and the water is 64.8º.  Low tide was at 6:57am -0.1' and high tide follows at 2:24pm +3.2'.  We have a SW swell out of 230º at 3.6' and it was 3' to 4' and looking really good for early June... S o we're off for the rest of the month to España and Portugal where we hope to meet up with the Jones, Marco and the Porto crew and Santi and Remi back in Northern España.  We'll be on Sruf Familia at the odd moments and maybe a report or two!  See you early in July... ✠ "When the surf break

Lost Boys & Co... H ere (#1) we have Lana on a little ripper from the Office south to middles.  She was out for a couple of hours showing the class some longboarding chops. Y our basic spring morning with 10 miles visibility under hazy skies.  Winds are light offshore and the sea surface is smooth.  The air temp is 61.2º and the water is finally over the hump to 65.1º and all we need is another blow and it will drop again.  Low tide was at 6:12am -0.3' and high tide will follow at 1:18pm +3.2'.  Yesterday it was actually better at the lowest tide since it broke off the farthest sand bar and had a modicum of shape.  Looking a tad walled but still working enough to be fun.  We have a SSW swell out of 213º at 3.0' and it's 2' to 3' and fun enough... T hen we have the Professor (#2) checking to see if there's room for a month worth of Boomfwappa's luggage in the back of this Uber.  A recon to southern Portugal, ending up with a visit to Santi in western

H azy sun this morning with offshore winds at 3 to 5kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temperature was 56.9º and the water is 64.6º all seeming very springlike.  Low tide was early at 5:33am -0.5' and high tide was in the middle of the day at 12:25pm +3.3'.  We have a SW swell out of 210º at 3.9' and it was 3' to 5' and was actually better when the tide was at it's lowest and the waves were breaking on the outside sand bars... #2)  B rian the Hawaiian standing tall and doing more than nothing-at-all.  He was busting this left all morning as the tide kept creeping up... #3 & #4)  T oph Miller showing that he can go both left and right.  He's got this backside attack that uses a bunch of check turns and then big moves to wrap it up... ✠ "When the sur
