Image
Lost Boys & Co... H ere we have a photo of Pope Francis finally giving a dispensation to all accordion players!  He said that they had labored too long on the fringes of entertainment and now it's time that they assume their rightful place.  Of course he failed to say where that rightful place might be, but this is a first step...  Next?  Maybe a married clergy?... S omeone asked, "Why are you two dressed like that?"  The Professor answered matter-of-factly, "It was Tuesday."  ✠ "When the surf breaks, we'll fix it..."

Storm Watch Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co... A fter the local news people scared the shit out of everyone about the impending "Killer Storm" we ended up with almost enough rain to open some of the drains.  One of the ones that did pop in spectacular fashion was the outfall next to the Chart House.  They forgot to clear the sand in front of the drain and it blew sideways to the north.  It created a black lagoon from 1st St. to 4th St.  By the time we got there, it was percolating through the sand and leaving this swath of smelly black detritus on the beach.  That was the bad news.  The good news was that the black water never got to the ocean, so it was relatively clean!  C lear skies this morning, with 20+ miles visibility and winds out of the northeast by 7.3kts.  The sea surface was smooth.  The air was a relatively chilly 57.2˚ and the water was 68.9˚ and felt 70.  High tide was at 6:15am +5.8' and low tide will be at 12:36pm +0.5'.  With the full moon this week there'll be some
