Tongue Twister Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Oh yeah, these things are great until someone gets their tongue stuck on too cold a scoop!  It happened to Barry Santos and his tongue ended up looking like a foot-long pig's tail.  Then again, his social life really took off after that...

High clouds obscuring a cool sun, but still 20+ miles of visibility.  A chilly wind out of the NNE at 7.2kts and the sea surface had a distinct ripple going.  The air was a brisk 55.9˚ and the water was 66.0˚, making for the really first fall-like morning we've had.  High tide was at 6:18am +5.4' and low tide drains the basin at 12:57pm +0.8'.  We have a WSW swell out of 262˚ at 2.6' and it's that and a bit more on the outside.  Beautiful manes on crystal waves this morning.  A little walled, but a little patience paid off...

Remember RUHS Vs El Segundo, mañana El Porto!
