Lost Boys & Co...
Throwback Thursday Surf & Culture Report
Thursday, September 25, 2008

Check out the attached shot of Danger Boy heading for t he Crystal Curtain. Okay, he's on the wrong side of the curtain, but at least he's looking at it and wondering how to get in.

This morning we've got some heavy air, with 7 miles visibility and hazy sun, but no fog. Winds are already onshore by 5.5kts and the sea surface has a definite tack to it. The air temp is 64.0f and the water is 67.6f. High tide will be at 7:59am +4.8' and low tide will follow at 1:21pm +1.9'. The buoy is reading 2.3' and the resulti9ng waves are in the 1' to 2' range. They're good shape, but not enough umph to make it seem like it's worthwhile going out.

Paver, wrote yesterday that he wasn't crazy about our new type style. Well, we agree! The problem is that Yahoo doesn't give us very many choices and when we do compose on a word document it converts it to some vanilla font when we copy it to send out.
At least we've been able to include photos as attachments. In the past we had them embedded in the text - we'd like to do that again too! We're looking at a couple of other options so stay tuned!
