You call THIS An April Fool's Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

We have a couple of birthdays to celebrate (remotely of course!)  First, today is Tio Ted's (#1) birthday and if you have a birthday April Fool's joke, don't bother telling him, he's heard all of them all already...  Sorry we're not getting together this year.  Then yesterday was Jerry Gross's birthday and a number of friends paraded by his digs with decorated cars displaying his favorite things.  The Professor decked out the bus with this banner (#2) celebrating his fave band...  sort of...

Surf this morning is small.  A beautiful morning with hazy sun and 10+ miles visibility.  Winds are offshore by 2.2kts and the sea surface is smooth.  The air temperature was 53.3 and the water is 58.6.  Low tide will be at 11:30am +0.3' and high tide will be late at 7:21pm +3.3'.  There's a SSW swell out of 198º at 2.6'.  That's translating to 1' and poor at most of our unusual spots (#3)...

Our own José Bacallao posted this note (#4) gently reminding us that being good citizens really helps in these challenging times...

SEE!  (#5)  Even cows know...  Although they may have another agenda...

Then we have Jetski (#6), properly masked and robed...  And of course it's CAKE!  At this rate we're going to run out of cake...  Are we running out?

Working on a Zoom Happy Hour for Friday.  There has been some discussion about Zoom not monitoring their sites very well and people have been hacking in and displaying inappropriate content.  Well, how come that never happens to us...  Wait...  when Jetski joins the conference there have been times when the inappropriateness spikes...  Okay, we're okay with this...

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it"
The Professor!!
