As The Wheels Turn Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

#1)  If you haven't joined recently, maybe you want to consider meeting the crew for dinner on Monday evenings at 6pm at Capt. Kidd's Seafood Carousel.  The service is slow, the food mediocre, but the company is absolutely fabulous.  It has also come to our attention that on many nights there are not enough revelers to drink all of the wine that gets uncorked.  A new wrinkle in the Monday evening tradition has been the use of electric bikes to ride to the Captain's table.  Here we have Sancho and LoLa showing off their rides waiting for their e-biker buddies...  Don't drive angry Sancho...

3 miles visibility and it was a damp drizzle that slicked up the playing field.  Winds were persistent on-shore and the sea surface was chopped.  The air temp was 61.9º and the water is 66.7º and if the sun doesn't come out for longer than a couple of hours, it may not get much better.  There's one tide today, a high at 3:19pm +5.0'.  We have a swell out of the SSW 198º at 3.0' and there were only a couple of places with bumps this morning.  Better luck mañana...
