An Old World Order Wednesday Surf & Culture Report
Lost Boys & Co...
Ladies and Gentlemen! We're saying take a deep breath, relax and go surf a few. Like Anupa here yesterday. (#1) Been hectic for this campaign season and we all need a break. Maybe our overloaded text messages will decrease by a significant number now.
The good news is that the internet has calmed down enough for us to get some photos downloaded and check on the local conditions. 15 miles visibility this morning under a few high clouds. Winds were offshore by 3 to 7kts and the sea surface was smooth. The air temperature was 52.3º and the water is 60.6º. One tide today, a high at 10:41am +5.4'. It's a WSW swell out of 255º at 2.6' and it jumped to 3' to 4' in the surf line.
The next heats of the Kickoff Classic ran this morning with some good results for the Redondo Seahawks in the Men's Shortboard division! Check out those who advanced:
1st: Devon Russell, Dylan Morrisroe
2nd: Rylan Gracie, Soren Roed
3rd: Tyler Anderson, Charlie Lentz, Jake Kislinger
(Editor's Note: As you might have heard I'll be undergoing a laminectomy on Thursday morning. Are they going to remove my lamb? No. Anyway, the report will be on hiatus for a bit and when I can write again we'll return to this cultural phenomenon. To all of those who've wished me good luck and offered prayers and good thoughts, you have my deepest thanks.
