The fog got so thick yesterday afternoon that it grounded the seagulls and pelicans (#1) They maintained it had nothing to do with the layoffs in the FAA.
A myopic 7 miles visibility this morning with cloudless hazy skies. Winds were light and variable and the sea surface had a bit of roll to it as the tide kept rising. High tide was at 8:03am +4.8' and low tide was at 2:25pm +-0.0'. At checkout the air temperature was 50.0 and the water was 57.4. We have a WSW swell out of 251 at 3.0' and it was 3' to 5' with some wally outsides ripping down the beach.
Spring has sprung and there were these great new buds (#2) on the maple trees...
